Pigging System Case Study: CP Kelco

CP Kelco, a food ingredients manufacturer based in San Diego, California, is benefiting from increased yields and reduced product loss after implementing pigging technology.

CP Kelco reached out to HPS because they were reinstating an existing transfer pipeline between different processing areas. They wanted to incorporate liquid product recovery (pigging) into their processes.

HPS designed, supplied, and commissioned one fully automatic single-pig pigging system into their plant.

They are now benefiting from increased yields of approximately 1200 gallons per cycle.
