have you heard of the top down curl method? 🌸 this styling routine, created by Katie from type of beautiful, was super popular a few years ago, and I’ve been meaning to try it ever since! In fact, a lovely subscriber requested I make a video on it 3 years ago (better late than never, right? 😅)

this method is like upside-down styling but without the backache - yet you still get amazing volume! 💁‍♀️ in this video, I test it out step by step on my wavy hair to see if it’s worth the hype✨

✨ my hair details: fine, high-porosity, dense, wavy (type 1/2), prone to tangles (my scalp recently: itchy and with some dandruff)

✨ products used: as I am dry & itchy shampoo, noughty wave hello conditioner, curly secret moisturising protection spray, curly secret miracle styling foam, garnier aloe vera air dry cream + curly secret popping curls styling gel
