This is probably one of the best entry level mirrorless cameras you can get for getting into videography. I've used it for the past 3 years and am now upgrading to a setup that better fits my needs. This kit is super versatile, I've used this for weddings, interviews, event coverage, sports, live streaming, and student films.
I already sold it for $750 on ebay, but there's a lot of similar listings like this one https://ebay.us/8cAFtb (affiliate link - I may earn a commission)
It has the same 16MP APS-C sensor with a mechanical photo shutter as some early Sony Alpha cameras and cost $2,700 when it released in 2012. This combo was geared for news stations, universities, and businesses that wanted something smaller and lighter, but with similar capabilities as their shoulder-mounted camcorders. To my knowledge, this 18-200 PZ lens has the widest power zoom range of any mirrorless lens. The sensor uses phase-detection autofocus and can track faces, which is really helpful. The included NP-FV100 battery can power the camera for over 3 hours straight on a single charge, and the camera accepts a Sony dc power plug for continuous power, whereas most mirrorless cams need a dummy battery or can only trickle charge over USB. It has no record limit and can do both 1080p60 and 1080p24, whereas most other DSLR/mirrorless cams like the Sony a6300, a6500, and Canon M50 all have a 30 minute recording limit. It can output a clean HDMI signal, which you can connect to a monitor or TV to view live footage, or pair with an inexpensive $20 capture card to live stream to YouTube or other platforms from a PC or phone. This also enables it to be used as a webcam within Zoom, Teams, etc. The manual video controls are laid out more like a broadcast cam and less like a photo cam, but it is capable of priority modes for shutter, aperture/iris, ISO, and full manual. It has face detection AF, subject tracking AF, and phase detection autofocus that perform really well. Since it's an E mount, you can change the lens for something like a prime with a greater aperture for shallower depth of field and a blurry background.
I've paired this with a tripod zoom remote control VCT-60AV (not included) and it really makes you feel like you're operating a news broadcast camera. I would highly recommend this camera, feel free to message me with questions :)
