Floating Roof tanks: As the name suggests, floating roofs, float on top of the stored product in the storage tank.
Depending upon the rise and fall of the level of the product, the floating roof also moves up and down with it, by maintaining a sliding contact with the tank’s inner wall.
The prime objective of a floating roof tank is to minimize evaporation
loss of the product.
