Pauline Karpidas: The London Collection | Mirror by Les Lalannes Soars to 8x Estimate at Sotheby's

Seven bidders competed for Les Lalanne’s ‘Unique Structure Végétale Mirror and Wall Light’ at the Evening Auction for ‘Pauline Karpidas: The London Collection’. It finally sold for almost 8X its high estimate, £3.5 million / $4.8 million, after more than 10 minutes of intense bidding.

All nine works by Les Lalanne – each made especially for Pauline – achieved a combined total of £13.6 million / $18.5 million at #SothebysLondon tonight.
