Cutting out names for some friends out of 3/8" plate. I used a No.000 tip and regulator pressures set at 7 Acy and 70 Oxy. I often times get asked how I'm able to cut such thin letters in these name cut outs so that they don't melt away. Well, here is the secret. Just pour water on the plate! Keeping the plate cool helps keep a sharper edge on the ends of the plate. overheating it can cause the top edges to round off and almost melt away if not careful. It does take some practice but you get better with time. Hope you dig it.
