A conceptual soundtrack for a “DOC dance” piece written by Noam Helfer alongside Eylon Tushiner.

The entire soundtrack is based on Piano, Clarinet, and electronic manipulations. These 3 elements carry us through a story of a dancer researching the different rooms of his heart as he goes through the most curious journey of life; Self recognition, meeting friends in the world, falling in love, breaking a heart, getting his own heart broken, and then feeling it heal again. The movement between togetherness and separation in every inhale and exhale is inevitable.

The soundtrack is a mix of guided improvisations with found soundscapes and digital processing. It contains inside the freedom of listening to the moment and reacting to it, and then the gentle work of weaving a close relationship between the music and the movement.
Without the dance itself, the soundtrack takes us to an eerie melodic journey. Music for self observation and gentle movement. It’s introspective and innovative and yet feels very simple at the same time.
A soundtrack for staring at mountains or just gazing at the ceiling.
It’s an album you press play and just drift through it until it catches your whole attention and then lets you be.


DOC dance is a group of 5 religious male dancers from Jerusalem. The creation Flesh of Heart is a collaboration with World-known Choreographer Sharon Fridman.
It premiered in September 2022, and since then has been getting praises all around the local dance scene.
