We taped with two out of three cameras these two songs at Northern Studios August 24th 1976. John and an unamed other duo were "warm up" acts prior to the arrival from Queens New York of a large Haitian orchestra. I will post that story and more later. We may have been one of the early clients after the takeover of the studio by Bill Riseman.
From Discogs.com on the Internet:
"Great Northern Studio
Recording studio in Maynard, Massachusetts, founded in the 1970s by Boston's Peter Casperson and artist manager Bob Runstein on the second floor of a former Woolworth's building. The studio closed and the space was acquired by new owners who then opened Northern Studios, Maynard, MA"
"Northern Studios, Maynard, MA
Profile
Recording studio owned and operated by Bill Riseman. When Great Northern Studio went out of business, Riseman acquired the space and opened a new studio in 1976. David 'db' Butler then joined the staff.
Also credited as:

I am almost certain that John was a client/friend of Derek Huntington who likely engineered or assisted the session on 16 track. See Derek and others perform in our much smaller 4 track studio in Watertown, MA in the B&W Playlist here in my YouTube channel.
John is accompanied on bass and back up vocals by Bobo Lavorgna who also played with Stormin' Norman and Suzy also seen in the B&W Playlist.
John never broke face from his irony laced humorous style. A multi talented musician who wrote songs and played drums, piano and guitar. The first song "Beat Your Head Against The Wall" he released on 7" vinyl with three other songs. I don't know the name of the second tune which requires close listening! If you know the name please make a comment.
I put three images at the end of the video:
An article from Yale Daily News 1979 archive about John O'Leary. Shortened url - https://tinyurl.com/ptc5kt54. that explains the "Homesick" moniker.
A YouTube post shortened url - https://tinyurl.com/esc6x3cd of the audio from a 1979 live recording at famous Toads Place in New Haven and WPLR radio broadcast with a full band of "Beat Your Head Against The Wall" The same WPLR-FM in New Haven that live broadcast in 1975 the "Beau Brummels" that is also in my B&W Playlist.
And a screenshot from Discogs of his 1976 7" vinyl record, ironically named "Homesick John's Greatest Hits", that actually may be available to purchase.

Looking at some other YouTube posts it is possible John O'Leary, Stormin' Norman Zamcheck and Derek Huntington were all classmates at Yale? Can anyone verify? Thank you.
