These airbags do no replace the existing live valve suspension, they help take some of the extra weight off the coilers if you have the truck loaded down in the back (with off-roading and camping gear for example) and they are also helpful when towing heavier trailers (but still within the max towing capacity of the truck at 5510 lbs)
