The wiring in the Jaguar XJ-S is notorious for issues and failure.
With a new LS under the hood, the best choice is to replace the entire system with something new. But how do you get all the new to work with all the old parts. Not surprisingly, it starts with a Painless Performance wiring harness. In this episode of Project XJS-LS, Kevin Tetz completely guts the wiring system and starts all over. He also swapped out the gauges, added a Vintage Air system, and had his re-upholstered seats installed.
