By regularly chanting Shiva mantras, a person becomes very strong from within, his soul becomes strong. No accident can weaken this belief. People who chant Shiva mantras with a clean mind can fight every battle of their life with ease. Also, their struggles make them a better and stronger person than before. How to chant Shiva Mantra :
• Like most mantras, Shiva Mantras should be chanted early in the morning after waking up, taking a bath and wearing clean clothes.
• Shiva mantras can be chanted at any time of the day but it is best to chant Shiva mantras at sunrise and sunset.
• Shiva mantras can be chanted at any time. If for some reason you have forgotten to chant the mantra at the appointed time, then it can be done at any time of the day or in prahar (about three hours long in Vedic astrology).
• Monday is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Chanting Shiva mantras on that day is very beneficial because Lord Shiva is easily impressed on Monday.
• For best results, Shiva mantras should be chanted after worshipping Lord Shiva.
• It is best to chant Shiva mantras 108 times at a time as this gives the best results. You can chant Shiva mantras out loud or silently if you wish.
