"City-Fragments" by Antonio Sanz Escallón, performed by Gwenyth Aggeler, Andrés Felipe Palacios, and Penelope Shvarts (Barrueco Studio Ensemble, Peabody Conservatory). The work was commissioned by the Baltimore Classical Guitar Society. Hear Risa Carlson's interview with the composer immediately after the performance.

This performance was part of Baltimore Classical Guitar Society’s “Made in Baltimore” Commission Award concert on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 3 PM in Linehan Concert Hall of UMBC. The "Made in Baltimore" Commission Awards brings together young composers and guitarists for the creation and performance of new works to be premiered during the BCGS concert season.
