"Welcome to downtown Kingston! ...Mathews Lane to be exact"
"Street Side Salon" is a 10 minute Street Side Prod. documentary short film made for my intermediate video production class.
The film was entirely produced (written, shot and edited) by me. I filmed on location in Mathews Lane, Kingston, Jamaica over spring break 2010.
With "Street Side Salon" I hoped to capture the vibrancy, creativity and energy of downtown Kingston.
It is a business place, a living space, and above all a community.
