Restoring a 1992 Apple Macintosh Classic II

In this video I fully restore a 1992 Apple computer: the Macintosh Classic II.
Here, you can watch the full process of bringing this vintage piece of tech (or art) back to its former glory.

I fully disassembled this machine and proceeded to clean and restore all original parts (using some new parts like capacitors to make it run reliable again).
Technical side of things:
I fully recap (replace capacitors) the logic board and analog board, clean and lubricate the floppy drive and ‘’retr0bright’’ the case + peripherals/accessories (keyboard, mouse, etc...) using hot water, clear hydrogen peroxide, a transparent plastic crate and lots of UV light!

I started filming this video in August of 2019 and never finished it due to some corrosion problems with the logic board and mainly because I didn’t have the time to work on the unit and edit the clips.

Now, in 2020, I decided to stop being unproductive and wasting my time.
