Season 3 Episode 3: The Silent Killer
Pam goes for a morning swim while the Ewing Brothers go in the house for breakfast. Bobby notices Lucy reading a novel for school. J.R. assures Jock and Miss Ellie that he got Patricia and Kristin a nice place during their visit, but he’s surprised to find out that Pam is taking Baby John to a pediatrician instead of Sue Ellen. To that end, J.R. decides to talk to Sue Ellen about the way she’s ignoring her own child, and why Pam is always with the baby. Sue Ellen tells J.R. that the child is her punishment as a reminder of her being used by J.R. and Cliff.
