A driver launched his car into a ravine, with the car landing upside down on it's roof, after hitting several bollards protecting an electrical utility box
The force of the collision caused the vehicle to launch over, and completely clear, the electrical utility box
The driver was briefly trapped in his vehicle and called 911
A passing motorist, Martin Mendez, saw the car go airborne and called it in to 911 prior to the driver calling 911 (see SOT at 02:00)
The driver was quickly extricated by firefighters and suffered a cut to the leg
Several distraught family members arrived at about the same time as first responders
