I first met Ms. Marvel through the 90s X-Men animated series, and it's always left me curious to know more about this mysterious character.
But, whether she's Carol Danvers, Ms. Marvel, Binary, Warbird, or Captain Marvel, this is an amazing female comic character! She has been in her own series, with The X-Men, The Avengers, The Might Avengers, A-Force, and The New Avengers. Carol Danvers has been in House of M, the Enemy Within, and many other comic story arcs with the Kree/Cree and the Brood. Her abduction by Marcus was unforgivable writing, but they've done so much with the character in Civil War and Civil War 2 that we can official count Captain Marvel as one of the most awesome women of Marvel Comics! Hopefully the 2019 Captain Marvel movie will be equally stellar!
