Tune Up of Lionel 3927 Track Cleaning Car including repairs, parts and operation. Offered between 1956 and 1960 for O and 027 Gauges. The Lionel catalog promised this amazing new car would work and wipe track. The motor in the 3927 only rotates a round sponge on the washing head. To move the 3927 you attach it to a locomotive. This car is the only one of the small motorized cars that is not self-propelled. The car came with two bottles of track cleaning fluid. The orange body has black lettering with removable wiper assembly. There is one non-operating coupler on the front of the car.
