🚴♀️ Why drive when you can roll straight from your doorstep? In this video, we take you on a bikepacking adventure from home to Galiano Island — one of BC’s beautiful Southern Gulf Islands — with no car, just bikes, gravel roads, and ocean views.
We packed up the night before, left early, and pedaled through bridges, dikes, forest greenways, and quiet backroads to the Tsawwassen ferry. From there, we crossed to Galiano, climb to our campsite at Montague Harbour Provincial Park.
After setting up camp, we explored sandstone caves at Retreat Cove, found hidden beaches, and relaxed on a quiet peninsula that felt like our own island paradise.
This trip had it all: gravel roads, ferries, camp sunsets, and a peaceful morning coffee before riding back the next day.
