Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway | Cotswold Festival of Steam 2025 | 24.5.26

Welcome to my first-ever visit to the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway for the 2025 Cotswold Festival of Steam! This year’s event celebrates “Railway 200” – marking 200 years since the start of the modern railway.
In this video, you’ll see a fantastic lineup of steam locomotives in action
at all sorts of locations, all to be seen within
the stunning views of the beautiful Cotswold Countryside.

Locomotive Highlights were SE&CR No. 65 from the Bluebell Railway ‘The King’ and ‘Willy’ – two Victorian engines steaming together for the first time (also known as the Well tanks), & No. 15 “Earl David” – a freshly restored wartime Austerity Saddle tank. The rest included 2 locomotives from the ‪@SevernValleyRailwayOfficial‬ these being Standard Class 4mt No. 75069, and GWR Pannier Tank No. 7714. Now for the home fleet, which consisted of 7903 ‘Foremark Hall’, 6880 ‘Betton Grange’, SR Merchant Navy Class No. 35006 P&0, & not to forget GWSR’s very own pair of GWR 28xx locomotives numbers 2807 & 3850!
