Week 1 – Screening and Classwide Intervention for Reading
Any effective multitiered system of support or intervention effort needs to begin with effective core instruction. This session will be based on recent research and will (a) demonstrate how to use data from reading screeners to identify class wide needs, (b) provide free resources to discuss quality instructional practices within a professional learning community, and (c) share classwide reading interventions that can lead to substantial growth in a short period of time.
