Louie Ski Carr began his career as one of the most popular dancers in the longest-running first-run, nationally syndicated program in television history, Soul Train. His signature “Cutty Salute” and dance moves caught the eyes of New Edition and he eventually went on tour with the group as a dancer and mentor. After 10 years on the show, Ski studied his new passion, acting, and has starred in several theater productions, films, and television shows including the BET Plus show, “Carl Weber’s The Family Business.” Ski stopped by Check the Rhymes TV to talk about his memories of Soul Train and transitioning into acting.
