Vatel Bahrain kick-starts a dynamic academic year like never before!

Vatel International Business School welcomed its students back to campus on Sunday with a motivational speech delivered by H.E. Jérôme Cauchard, French Ambassador to Bahrain. The link with France is strong as Vatel was founded in Paris 40 years ago, and the Vatel group has now grown to 50 campuses in 32 countries, and around 9000 current students globally. Exceptional Bahraini students have been awarded scholarships by the Ministry of Education to study at Vatel again this year.

Vatel welcomed its first intake of students in October 2018 and looks forward to the first batch of students graduating at the end of this academic year. Students from Vatel in Bahrain will graduate with a French Bachelor’s degree (recognised throughout Europe) as well as a Bahraini degree. Not only this, but Vatel students graduate with at least 2 years relevant work experience that they gain during their studies, as well as a wealth of knowledge of different languages and cultures, and a bright outlook on the world. All Vatel students have the opportunity to participate in our award-winning student exchange programme whereby students may choose to study a full year abroad at another Vatel campus, and all Vatel students undertake at least one overseas internship throughout their studies. Indeed, we are hosting 2 Vatel students from France currently, and hope to welcome many more in the near future.

Three weeks ago, Vatel International Business School organised a roundtable event entitled ‘The Future of Tourism & Hotels’ that was covered by Bahrain TV. Prominent figures in hospitality attended the meeting to emphasise the significance, achievements, and future successes of Bahrain’s luxury hotel and leisure sector.
