Happy Halloween ! I enjoy watching the spiders in fall! While looking at their webs I decided to try to recreate a spider web in a pine needle basket. I combined the Straight Stitch with a webbing stitch to accomplish a spider web look in a pine needle basket.
In this video you will learn how to create a Straight Stitch and a Web Stitch. I will explain a bit about placement of handles/crevices for finishing off you basket. In a shorter video I will explain how to measure for placement of handles/crevices and show you how to add beads to the handles/crevices.
In a separate video in this playlist, I will demonstrate how to create the spider webbing stitch in the handles/crevices. Each crevice will look a bit different. Do not be discouraged if your do not look the same as mine.
