GAUGE SWATCH: 20 stitches x 30 rows = 4”x4” (10 cm x 10 cm) square in stockinette stitch




Materials:
DK weight / size 3 yarn. I used HobbyCraft’s The Women’s Institute DK yarn. You can use an alternative DK weight yarn, just make sure your gauge is correct (I have used a few different yarns for this pattern and they can differ massively)! For the amount of yarn you will need go to 3:10

4mm circular knitting needles with at least 40cm cable for smaller sizes or 60cm cable for larger sizes, OR size needed to obtain gauge.

optional 4mm DPN’s for the neckline and arm cuffs. I personally used circular needles for the whole project and then just did the magic loop technique for the arms and neck.

2:48 - gauge info
3:00 - 'you will need'
3:10 - yarn yardages
4:26 - starting the ribbing
7:01 - separating front and back
9:19 - putting stitches on hold
11:00 - start decreasing for the front
14:26 - shaping the neckline / shoulders
20:33 - putting held stitches back on the needles
21:27 - decreasing for the back
23:50 - shaping the neck / shoulders
27:05 - seaming the shoulders
28:35 - neck ribbing and demonstration of magic loop
32:56 - stretchy bind off
35:55 - armhole ribbing
