Tuesday, 21 April, I would like to propose a concert filmed during the “Autumn Music Days in Souvigny” (Allier-France) in 2013 and directed by Philippe Klinge and his team. The historic organ of François-Henri Clicquot (1783) allows one to discover a very different facade of Bach’s Goldberg Variations masterpiece which one commonly hears performed on harpsichord or piano but that I have transcribed here for organ. Pour cette version inhabituelle des Variations Goldberg que j'ai transcrites pour orgue, l’instrument historique de François-Henri Clicquot (1783) permet de découvrir un visage très différent du chef-d’œuvre de Bach que nous avons l’habitude d’entendre plus souvent au clavecin ou au piano.
