Ultra fine tip black marker
Colored markers
Cloth/paper to protect table

TIME NEEDED
The video is approximately 20 minutes, but the actual project may take closer to 30 minutes to complete depending on how much color you decide to add. Remember, this video can be paused at any point if you need more time to complete a step.

This art lesson + project is for all ages but geared towards the elementary level.

YOUNGER STUDENT OPTION
Have a preschooler or younger child who wants to create alongside their older sibling but is not quite ready to follow along with the video? PARENT/TEACHER TIP
Want to use a different medium? Great, change it up! Draw the ice cream truck using colored pencils; you could even choose to add color using watercolor paints. Just be sure to draw it on watercolor paper.

For another option, skip the truck drawing and forward straight to the ice cream cone portion of the video. Fill up your entire paper drawing only the ice cream and cone... choose your favorite medium and color or paint it.
