🚌 Top Tips for Getting Around Zagreb:

Stay in or near Uptown – It puts you right in the heart of the city. You won't need a car, and the buses and trams are super easy to use.

☀️ Where We Went: ☕ Carpe Diem Café – We started our morning with a delicious 2-euro coffee (cash only!). 🍓 Dolac Market – Even though we arrived a bit late, we scored fresh fruits and got a taste of local life. Try to go early to beat the heat and catch more vendors! 🚶 Tkalčićeva Street & Ban Jelačić Square – A lively, colorful area perfect for strolling and people-watching. ⛪ St. Mark’s Church – Snap some photos of that iconic tiled roof! You can walk up or ride the shortest funicular in the world (4 euros). 🕯️ Stone Gate – Once part of the old city wall, now a peaceful religious site where locals light candles and pray. 🌆 Grič Tunnel – A hidden underground tunnel filled with history—read the signs as you go! 🥐 Lunch Tip – Grab a quick bite from a bakery for a budget-friendly option that doesn’t slow down your day. 🏖️ Jarun Lake – End your day like a local! Cool off by the water, walk the paths, or just relax under the trees.
