My most commonly asked question of all time. Wearing the niqab is an additional journey to putting on hijab. While hijab is easy for some, and harder for others, niqab is its own battle within itself. Niqab requires a fully Islamic wear, and many jobs, places, and countries have enforced AGAINST the wear of niqab in public places. I hope this video illustrates how wearing the niqab full time is more than just “putting it on.” Keep in mind women who choose to wear niqab have to jump through many hoops, including local laws, wardrobe, and bettering themselves as a Muslim woman so they do not face backbiting repercussions for not properly wearing the niqab.
