De nada vs Bem-vindo in Portuguese - both WELCOME in English but different meanings in PT?

Do you know the difference between de nada vs bem-vindo in Portuguese?

If you always get confused about when you should use "de nada" and when you should use "bem-vindo", you're not the only one!
Many students of Portuguese use "bem-vindo" when they should use "de nada" and vice-versa because both are translated into English as "Welcome" many times. So, that's bound to bring some confusion.
