🌊🎨 Welcome to another coastal adventure! Join me, artist Joanne Wishart, as I embark on a painter’s journey from Warkworth to Alnmouth along the Northumberland Coastal Path. This 6-mile (10km) walk is full of inspiration, stunning views, and local history, as we explore iconic landmarks under grey skies, stroll along unspoiled beaches, and pass shipwrecks nestled in the sand.

Starting in the historic village of Warkworth, we’ll visit its medieval castle, cross the River Coquet, and enjoy scenic coastal views. As we approach Alnmouth, a village dear to my heart, we’ll reflect on its rich history, shaped by a devastating storm, and finish with a visit to one of my favorite local shops that stocks my prints and cards! 💙
