Racing Stage 1 BLIND...

This last weekend was a crazy one! I got 5th overall which wasn't as good as I wanted to perform, but I have to give myself credit I was sick like a dog all weekend. This is the Loamazona trail in Sunrise bike park in Greer AZ. Saturday was preride and I couldn't make it to all the stages to prep so I decided to race this stage blind which was gnarly. It was a pretty long stage after the first climb of the day so I was definitely feeling it after stage 1. The energy was high and I was stoked to be there!

Shoutout to the photographer who caught my back when I almost smashed into a tree after a slippery bridge. I guess people had been crashing there all day so I'm glad I came out unscathed. If it weren't for that crash I might have gotten up to 4th overall in the Amateur Mens catagory. Huge thanks to ‪@SunriseSkiAZ‬ and ‪@themountainbikeassociation‬ for an amazing weekend!

As always I'm racing ‪@YTIndustriesTV‬ Capra Core 2 and this thing is a beast! completely stock on almost all components and it raced like a charm. Another shoutout to ‪@GoodDayOptics‬ for my Steph glasses that I wear all the time and was repping during preride.
