Hey everyone,
This is the last SundayCover that I recorded during the studio session last month! Next week I will be starting my Berklee Spring semester and I will record some new SundayGroove videos with Berklee friends. I chose the song BO$$ because of it’s “drum heavy” vibe. It has an interesting beat in the verses (with the rim clicks) and the chorus (with only a kick drum and some hits) and I had fun playing around with this song. The bridge was the hardest part to figure out what to play on my drums. I couldn’t come up with a good and interesting way to “lift” the song with a new beat that fit the song. Luckily, just one day before the session I came up with the “stack cymbal beat” and liked that very much. I hope you enjoy the video and if so please like, subscribe and/or give a comment!
