A walk across my property and beginning a personal challenge.

I'm so excited that it's finally spring. This year has so much potential for growth. Last weeks snow and warm temperatures coming next week, combined with more than twelve hours of daylight, will get things growing fast. Plants here respond pretty quickly to changes in the weather.
A couple things are putting up some fresh growth. Thistles and prickly poppy are being some of the first to green up for the season.

Also I am challenging myself to do a video every day for the next year. What better time to start this journey than the first day of spring. I've got a few ideas for projects to share with you. Including creating wildlife habitats and a tutorial on how to grow cactus from seed. This will be layered in among the progression of plantings to rejuvenate and revitalize this little patch of the desert.
I've got native walnut and ash tree seeds starting to sprout. This growing season is off to a positive start.
