1970 Plymouth Cuda
Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to feature this 1970 Plymouth Barracuda for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. The ‘Cuda, as high performance variants like this were more commonly referred to, was originally based on a Chrysler A body platform that resembled the mid-size Valiant but 1970 saw a change to the E body (Challenger) platform and subsequently a change of direction towards the muscle car segment. This particular example has been lovingly restored over 15 years to mostly factory specs of a 440 with a 6 pack. This ‘Cuda comes painted in vibrant “Vitamin C Orange” with a black vinyl top. Rall-e wheels and BF Goodrich tires complete the exterior look. The paint and body work on this 1970 Plymouth Barracuda for sale was done professionally by Big Boyz Customs in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Inside, you’ll find black vinyl interior and mostly stock instrumentation throughout such as the steering wheel which is original but has been restored. The headliner and carpet are brand new. The engine needs no introduction on this car- a 440 CID V8 with three 2bbl carburetors that pushed around 390hp from the factory.
