The Los Angeles Junction Railway (or LAJ) is a terminal switching railroad wholly owned by BNSF but operated independently, interchanging with both the UP and BNSF. In this video, we catch a former Burlington Northern GP50, now designated a GP39-3, as it switches cars at several spots around Commerce in evening light.
