This wild 1990s widebody Mustang was once a full-blown magazine car — and I picked it up off Facebook Marketplace for just $1,000. But now I’m doing what might make some purists cry…
To fit the massive Holley Hi-Ram intake manifold under the hood, I had to cut a hole right through it — and then hand-build a custom fiberglass hood bulge from scratch. In this video, I walk you through the whole process: cutting, shaping, fiberglassing, and finally molding it into the hood to make it seamless.
Is this the right move for a car with this much history? Or did I just ruin a piece of 90s show car nostalgia?
