Birding in Belize: Birding at Ian Anderson's Caves Branch Jungle Lodge

We were invited over by Ian Anderson’s Caves Branch Adventure Company and Jungle Lodge, also known as “Caves Branch,” to go bird watching with their birding guides. Caves Branch is located in the outskirts of Belmopan just past the St. Herman’s Blue Hole National Park.

We arrived very early in the morning and met with Marvin Martinez and the rest of their birding guides. Marvin gave us a brief orientation and some history of how he got into birding. Marvin and the team at Ian Anderson's Caves Branch were very knowledgeable and passionate about birding. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and have become birding enthusiasts ourselves.
