Karen Cornelius and her 5 year old stallion, Fiderello, perform their First Level Freestyle at the 50th Anniversary Annual CDS and Region 7 USDF Dressage Championships, held at Rancho Murieta, CA, September 2017. They earned a 76.750% on this ride for the USDF Region 7 Championship title. They rode it again to earn a 77.750% for the CDS First Level Freestyle Championship title, but of course the videographer forgot to video that one, and of course all friends and family were told to just watch and enjoy because it was being videoed. Oh well. That ride was better than this one, because the free walk was good (this one has a couple bobbles in the free walk). Anyway, lots of you requested the freestyle video to be shared on youtube, so here you go. Enjoy! Oh, and the music is instrumental versions of the following songs: trot: Depeche Mode "Personal Jesus," canter: Alannah Myles "Black Velvet," and walk: Ed Sheeran "Shape Of You." The freestyle choreography and music editing was all done by Karen. Thanks for all the positive feedback! It was fun!
