Build a strong, clean ramp you can actually trust—no welding, no overthinking. In this video we make a 6-ft ramp using a 4×6 sheet of 5/8″ OSB, two 2×8s mounted under the sheet and ramp-kit brackets at the ends. Perfect for lawn mowers, dollies, and remodel material runs.

Build notes

Pre-drill and stagger screws every 8–10″ along each 2×8.

Seal exposed plywood edges if the ramp will live outdoors.

Adjust bracket location to meet your landing height; confirm clearance.
