Here's the story of how a dedicated group of military vehicle enthusiasts in New Zealand set a new world record for the largest gathering of Bren Gun Carriers (Universal Carriers) in one place. This historic achievement was years in the making and involved passion, restoration, and a Kiwi determination to beat the existing record.

The journey begins at the Wings Over Wairarapa Airshow in 2013, where we Alex Denby, a member of the New Zealand Military Vehicle Collectors Club and explore the gathered collection of rare carriers, including the locally built LP2A variant and other unique models.

In the second part, Alex shares his ambitious plan to bring together more carriers than ever before and reclaim the world record from Australia. Find out how New Zealand’s remarkable collection of Universal Carriers—possibly the most diverse in the world—made this goal achievable.

Finally, we fast-forward to the record-breaking event and witness history in motion: 27 carriers successfully completed a two-mile course, smashing the previous record.
