Life is about alternatives... You can either dwell on the past and say "I'm not successful because..." or you can take control of your life and work around anything that's going on. Look, I 100% respect the shit out of the fact that there are some people that grew up with parents that were drug addicts or that have had to work 3 jobs for the last 5 years and then lose everything... But, when given the opportunity to take control of your life and push through, I don't know what the other reasonable alternative possibly could be.
