London with Kids (Part 2) Remembering Queen Elizabeth II

Join us as we explore London with our three kids during the first few days of our month-long UK adventure! 🌎👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 We packed a carry-on suitcase per person, brought along homeschool workbooks, and flew into Heathrow Airport ready for a busy and exciting trip.

Just a few days before our arrival, Queen Elizabeth II passed away, which made our London experience especially memorable. We had the chance to witness local memorials and walk through Green Park, where flowers and tributes filled the space in honor of the Queen.

One of the highlights for me was seeing London's incredible architecture, with sculpted stone details on so many historic buildings.

During our four days in the city, we explored iconic landmarks such as Westminster Abbey, the Palace of Westminster, Big Ben, and Buckingham Palace. We also enjoyed shopping, and visited the National Gallery and the British Museum, taking in art, culture, and the vibrant streets of London along the way.
