Therapist analyzes Rooster by Alice In Chains to discuss the pain that we often experience when we realize we have to survive something. So often, there is this part of us that surfaces when we are going through something difficult that doesn't want to survive, that is angry that we have to keep living, and instead of shoving this part aside, it's best to acknowledge that part so it can loosen its grip. This song is a beautiful tribute to Vietnam Veterans and all veterans and highlights the pain of their experience.
