European Roadtrip | Day 4 - Our Day in Bern and Thun (Including the Swiss Alps!)

Welcome to Day 4!

A full day in Switzerland. Here we spend half a day in the capital, Bern. This beautiful city is absolutely stunning. It's not biggest, but my god the sights are wonderful. You'd be very lucky to spend a full day here - although the city may not be vibrant, the buildings and scenery is second to none.

Take advantage of the free bear pit, where the bears can be seen beside the river or in the open air pit itself! However, if you plan on doing so, avoid the winter months as the bears are away hibernating until spring!

Following Bern, we travelled to the picturesque town of Thun (Toon). Including a wonderful walk along the lake, the mountainous Swiss Alps can be enjoyed and absorbed from your very eyes. The drive there from Bern is also rather fantastic!
