So I have now taken my MG out for a test drive trialing three MAPs programmed into the Ignition 123 distributor. Amazing technology that you can just stop by the side of the road and change the distributor timing without even getting out of the drivers seat.
First MAP was ok, second MAP was better, and the third MAP was the best. All tests done on the same stretch of road on the same day. Ambient Temp was about 10 degrees C
Just have to decide now if I'm going to go back to the dyno, I'll see how the car runs on the next couple of outings, and I'll go from there. Expensive exercise the ole dyno. If I was racing the car or competing, far more justification.
I have done a second video, different set-up different results, check it out in about an hour or so when I have finished reviewing it.
