Ukulele Blues Lick in A | Uke Tutorial

I literally wrote this cool Blues riff for ukulele a few minutes before I shot this video.

I wanted to do something that was in the key of "A" and used the open position A Minor Pentatonic Scale based around the A7 chord.

The A Minor Pentatonic Scale is A - C - D - E - G - A.

This Blues lick only uses strings 1-3 (high G or low G no worries we got you) and also uses hammer-on's.

I play this lick in the tutorial using alternating picking with my 1st and 2nd fingers.

This Blues riff will sound great over any A7 chord, especially if you want a Blues sound, or it will work in a Blues in the key of A.

There is some repetition in the lick and ends on a double stop playing unison A notes on the 1st and 2nd string.

Get it down, get it memorized and get to playing.
