First dive of the new Suunto Nautic. This is running Bühlmann Z-HL 16C with GF50/85 in sidemount mode with 2 pods, and Nx50 in a deco cyl without pod. All worked as advertised, except the display of GF99/SurfGF is missing from the initial software release so I've added the 'Tissues' display in lieu. Easy to navigate the menus. Display brightness is set to Medium. I had worried the buttons would be too easy to push by mistake but didn't seem to be an issue. The only faff was the gas switch. If you accept it on ascent it's 2 presses; if you want to defer the switch it means burrowing into menus, logical but total 9 or 10 button presses. This could be slicker! A long press on the OK button to take you to or out of the gas options and straight to the home screen might be a solution. With all the data links active and GPS, 90 minutes total diving used 2% of battery, which is great, but linking to the App afterwards also used 2% of battery. But it still should go a couple of weeks of intensive diving without a charge, should that be necessary. And note it's a USB-C charging cable.
