Óbidos Castle. 1 of the 7 Wonders of Portugal. A Silver Coast of Portugal must see!

While living in the Caldas da Rainha area, we visited this wonderful walled city a few times. It's a 12 mins drive from Caldas da Rainha and roughly 45 mins from Lisbon. My family and I got to see to see it in “several lights” so to speak (during the rainy season, which is most of the year in the Silver Coast, bright and sunny days, and during the Christmas festival). Obidos Castle is a must see if you're visiting the Silver Coast of Portugal. The ancient walled city is absolutely stunning! It houses plenty of restaurants, shops, and cultural activities. It also has wonderful views of the areas since it sits atop a mountain.
