Mcintosh MC1.25kw/Trinnov Alt32/JTR Captivator/Focal Sopra3/Focal Sopra1/Roon Nucleus/Mcintosh MC600

So today I finally finished everything as I was waiting on a set of JTR Captivator to come from the USA 🇺🇸.

I changed some of the absorption for some Quadratic diffusers up front and sides as I have absorption on the floor and the equipment rack is one giant absorbent unit, it has acoustic fabric behind the wooden slats and the unit is filled with absorbent material inside which you can only see from the back, there is Gik acoustic bass traps in all corners and absorbent/diffusion on the walls.

I built this room from scratch with dedicated power lines separate from the main house and on its own fuse board with every single power outlet for the audio equipment on a radial not a ring circuit this 100% avoids any ground loops issues further down the line and dead quiet power that’s also isolated.

Seating is from Valencia Seating.

Everything goes through the Trinnov Alt32.

All speakers are Focal

Streaming is done through Roon/Tidal on a Nucleus+

Focal Sopra 3 up front on McIntosh MC1.25kw monoblocks, centre speaker is the Focal Utopia Viva on a Mcintosh MC600 monoblock

Focal Sopra 1 on Side left & Right on Mcintosh
MC600 Monoblocks.

Focal 1038be on back rear surrounds on Mcintosh MC452 amplifier.

I also have a Topping D70s DAC and a Fiio M15 DAC for 2 channel listening if I want something different than the Trinnov, both can also be used for multi channel listening in bypass through the Trinnov Alt32.
I highly recommend Auro3D for multi channel listening it’s the best I have ever heard 🎶🎶🎶

Subwoofers are 2 JTR Captivators dual 18” up front
and
PSA 7201 Quad 18” in the rear.

All 6 Atmos ceiling speakers are the Kef Ci200RR THX on a Mcintosh MC207

My headphone rig is the Woo Audio WA6 with Sennheiser HD800s & Sennheiser 650 headphones.

TV is the Sony 83” A90J Oled.

Ethernet is on the English Electric8 Network switch on linear power supply

This has been a labour of love and many years in the planning, then finally building a dedicated room.
